      What You Will Achieve

      This Injectable Inspection Line Coordinator position is responsible for operating and controlling production lines in the Injectable Inspection area. The Line Coordinator will oversee both manual and automated Inspection lines.

      How You Will Achieve It

      • The Line Coordinator monitors inspection output, performs troubleshooting, checks product quality, and documents production data in the batch records.

      • The Line Coordinator may oversee up to 11 operators on a production line.

      • The Line Coordinator will be responsible for confirming line settings and changeovers, exchanging information between shifts, timely start, and stop times for the lines, assigning operator duties at the end of orders, and assigning operators for cleaning and clearances. Weekend and overtime work will be required.

      • The Line Coordinator may be working without direct supervision on weekends. Considerable standing and some liftings are necessary for the Line Coordinator position.

      • Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards and all regulatory requirements.

      • The Line Coordinator will be trained in using the SAP computer inventory system and will need to be forklift certified to help cover Material Handler duties.

      • The Line Coordinator will also be trained to use WPM Labor Reporting System.

      • The Line Coordinator will be expected to know the inspection process and, at times, inspect on lines. Work on special projects and work teams may also be required.

      • The Line Coordinator will also be expected to participate in the training and recertification of new colleagues.

      • The Line Coordinator will be audited for inspection technique and tray defects when performing inspection functions.

      • The Line Coordinator will be expected to follow Pfizer leader behaviors and demonstrate Pfizer values.

      • The Line Coordinator will also be trained in all Material Handler functions.

      Qualifications

      Must-Have

      • High School Diploma or GED

      • Demonstrates ability to properly problem solve work-related issues, exercise good judgment/decision making, and effectively work with team members.

      • The applicant will possess basic mathematical skills to perform calculations in batch records.

      • The applicant should possess essential reasoning ability.

      Nice-to-Have

      • Previous experience in cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) environment

      • Previous experience in Sterile Inspection is highly desired but not required. Previous computer skill is preferred.


      PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

      • Physical Demands: Job tasks include frequent bending, lifting, and twisting motions. Additional demands are line and product specific. Participation in an Ergonomic Stretching Program is required.

      • Work Environment: Eye protection, gloves, and other PPE are required based on product requirements. Annual vision testing (acuity and color blindness testing) is required. No physical or medical restrictions that would prohibit working in low light and/or confined space work environment. May be required to gown for work in ‘clean room.’

      NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

      • Weekend overtime will be required.

      • Although this is a 2nd shift position, training may take place on 1st shift.

      • Schedule: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.

      • Work Location Assignment: On Premise colleagues work in a Pfizer site because it’s needed to get their job done.

      The salary for this position ranges from $18.10 to $30.17 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
