nbkc bank is currently looking for a Loan Processor to join our processing team.

The Loan Processor is responsible for collecting and preparing necessary information required by each loan type to process and complete loan files. They will verify all documentation for accuracy and completeness.

This position will work @Flex (a combination of both in the office and at home) based out of our Kansas City, MO office.

What you’ll do

• Review residential loan documentation to verify data is complete and accurate as to borrower employment, assets, liabilities, etc.
• Request payoffs, mortgage insurance, surveys, inspections and other items through appropriate vendors
• Review incoming documents and notify the underwriter and Loan Officer (LO) of any discrepancies
• Submit, review and/or analyze automated underwriting findings and documentation provided by borrower
• Follow-up on outstanding documentation needed for the file with internal counterparts (i.e. LO)
• Update file information in front end system
• Work directly with LO, closer and underwriter to ensure accurate completion and delivery of loan file in a timely manner
• Outlined duties must be performed within published and specified SLAs as well as maintaining satisfactory quality scores
• Provide rotating coverage for team members during off time
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years mortgage operations, banking or administrative support experience
• General knowledge of mortgage documentation and procedures
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
