Description:

Client Worldwide Developer Relations is looking for a highly motivated Localization Producer to assist with creating, maintaining, and expanding the French Client Developer website and related marketing communications. We are looking for someone who is passionate about accurate translation and effective writing, and possesses excellent interpersonal, prioritization, and communication skills. The candidate must be highly meticulous, meet required deadlines, and maintain industry-leading standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Localize technical marketing content.
• Translate urgent content.
• Review and edit vendor translations, provide constructive feedback, and improve localization quality.
• Work remotely with teams in France to review content.
• Work closely with engineering teams to test the website.
• Maintain style guides, translation memory, and a database of terms.
• Assist with miscellaneous web and email production projects.

Requirements for the role:

• Fluency in French (fr-FR): Exceptional translation and writing skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English: Solid proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Able to think clearly and approach problems flexibly.
• Independent Work: Proven ability to rely on own discernment and discretion to work independently, including the ability to organize, plan, and prioritize tasks, and handle multiple assignments at a time, in creative and efficient ways.
• Adaptability: Willingness to listen, challenge, and commit when taking on new assignments, and innovate down to the details when necessary.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with WorldServer or similar translation software, basic HTML editing, web production, and text processing skills.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with digital products and information technologies.
