  Thank you for your interest in the post of Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for a fixed term contract role.

  Due to the immediate demand on the OMFS service at RSCH, the unit is to recruit a new consultant for a fixed term. There will be an on call commitment associated with this role.

  The Royal Surrey is proud to have an enthusiastic and dynamic team of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons who share the common goal of providing excellent clinical care. The department is a Regional referral unit for Oral and Maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) from hospitals in North Hampshire and North/ West Surrey. The team manages the full breadth of pathology associated with OMFS.

  Main duties of the job

  The post holder will be a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon.

  The post holder will have an interest in and experience of the management of all aspects of OMFS pathology. The role will primarily focus on the management of skin cancer, trauma, odontogenic lesions and complex dentoalveolar surgery. Candidates with a special interest area, such as Head and Neck Surgery or TMJ are invited to apply as there may be opportunity to develop these further.
