      Title: Logistics Analyst
      Location: Houston, TX

      Salary: $82,900 - $106,800
      Schedule: Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week

      Focus: The Logistics Analyst is responsible for coordinating and facilitating all rail traffic for customer shipments and preparing appropriate documents and maintaining all records per Olin's document retention guidelines. Additionally, this role is responsible for resolving transit issues and the proper positioning of empty tank cars to minimize cost.


      Logistics Analyst Essential Job Functions:

      • Monitor and position empty tank cars to sustain production rates at the lowest incremental cost. Manage inbound railcar pipelines to minimize potential railroad demurrage.
      • Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop appropriate fleet sizing and positioning and collaborate with the Manufacturing Sites and Supply Chain Teams to support production targets.
      • Work closely with the railroads and Customer Service to resolve service issues and to identify and resolve any rail transit issues.
      • Act as the primary liaison between production facilities and rail service providers.
      • Analyze industry trends and regulatory changes and disseminate the information and impact accordingly.
      • Acts as the North American Rail subject matter expert to collaborate with various stakeholders (both internal and external).

      Logistics Analyst Minimum Requirements:

      • Bachelor's degree*; emphasis in Engineering or Supply Chain preferred
      • Minimum of 2 years of Logistics or Transportation experience
      • Must have excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail
      • SAP knowledge strongly preferred
      • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
      • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
