Job Description
Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking an Intern for its Aerospace, Transportation, and Advanced Systems Laboratory (ATAS). The intern will be responsible for assisting with logistics in the procurement and receiving process, identifying areas of inefficiency, assisting with logistics of inventory management, managing Bills of Materials by utilizing database tools, and performing physical inventory audits. This may include coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and engineers, as well as other elements of the parts handling process.
This position allows for the opportunity to gain experience with work orders, kitting, and quality assurance, as well as develop and implement processes across the program, lab, and potentially the organization. This position will require someone with exceptional problem solving, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
This position will require in person attendance at the Cobb County Research Facility (CCRF), as well as the ability to handle/lift and deliver parts.

Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.
