      About the job:

      The Logistics Coordinator will focus on managing the daily operations of some of Odyssey’s key clients. Some of the main responsibilities include escalation resolution, proactive transportation management, communication of order specific requirements, data entry, and relationship building.

      In this role you will:

      • Manage the daily execution of clients’ shipments from A-Z. Quote, schedule, build, book, and track shipments across all modes of transportation with a primary focus on LTL, LTL Specialized Services and Truckload.
      • Monitor progress of shipments to ensure coverage, on-time performance, and the resolution of any mid-transit issues.
      • Confidently problem solve issues such as missed pick-ups, late delivery, damaged freight, or incorrect billing.
      • Manage day-to-day relationships with key carriers and develop agreeable resolutions for any problematic carriers.
      • Learn various freight market trends based on seasonality, geography, and specialized carrier types to effectively communicate to client facing representatives.
      • Identify trends and offer recommendations to batch up processes and continually improve the operational efficiency of accounts.
      • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and partners, upholding superior and professional relationships.

      Required:

      • High School diploma required.
      • 2+ years of transportation experience required. Preferred modes of expertise: LTL, TL, Partial.
      • Master ability to build and maintain strong client partnerships.
      • Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
      • Team player who can produce independent results.
      • Task oriented; strong desire to accomplish specific tasks throughout the day.
      • Detailed orientated, self-starter with the ability and drive to learn.
      • Process and solution oriented; ability to follow standard operation procedures.
      • Perform well under pressure and with integrity.
      • Act with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy and detail.
      • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
      • Show initiative and ability to work well with Supervisors/Managers.
      • Display good time management through ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with excellent organization.
      • Flexibility to handle changing work environment.
      • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

      Location: This is an in-office role in Kennesaw, GA
