Circle K is looking for a Distribution Network Analyst to work in the largest fuel distribution stream in North America. Candidates for this job must have a strong eye for detail, provide quick and strategic solutions, adapt to sudden changes, manage difficult and complex challenges, and work collaboratively with excellent oral and written communication skills. We seek individuals who value customer satisfaction and are available to work outside of the typical 9-5, Monday-Friday working hours. This job will require some nights and weekends.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure precise, cost effective fuel distribution planning and cost reduction for overall transportation
• Summarizing, analysis and reporting of distribution planning indicators, as well as other relevant reports
• Ensure implementation of logistics strategies in accordance with development goals, ensure achievement of goals and plans
• Perform necessary control mechanisms daily, to ensure the volume and quality within supply chain from oil terminals to end-consumers
• Ensure information exchange with internal and external partners
• Ensure close relations with suppliers and clients in accordance with Circle K ethics and HSSE policy
• Represent logistics unit in cooperation with other units in the company or external cooperation partners
• Engage in cooperation with sales unit and customer service unit to gain high standard customer service. Act proactively in search for opportunities how to improve achievement of goals.
• Show immediate reaction and suggest solutions to customer complaints
• Maintain close relations with external suppliers to gain understanding of products and services;
• Ensure good routine of registration and retaining of information relevant for execution of duties.
• Provides day to day work direction to our motor fuel common carriers to insure compliance with Circle K SOP, lifting instructions, load shifting, inventory levels, and arbitrage capture
• Insures compliance with local, state and federal legal requirements by assisting common carriers during fuel conversion seasons
• Monitor store level inventories and work with motor fuel common carriers to prevent run out
• Review fuel dispatch system to insure proper setup parameters, sales trends, supply sources, and tank configurations
• Provides after hours coverage for emergencies that are not resolved by support team members
• Works as liaison between carrier, supply and accounting departments to resolve any questions/issues

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 - 5 year experience working in a transportation dispatch department and/or in petroleum trucking industry
• Fluent in English.
• Computer literate in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management or related field
• Experience working with TMW Fuel dispatch software or similar applications
• Experience with supplier and project management
• Basic knowledge of dangerous goods transportation and relevant legislation.
