What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the strategic planning of yard and warehouse operations, including capacity and the management of inbound and outbound movements of containers
- Maintain communication with supply chain planning and logistics departments to proactively address issues such as order management and delivery delays
- Coordinate deliveries, including diversion and tracking shipments from various locations to distribution and warehousing facilities
- Analyze performance metrics and historical operational data to compile reports and improve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Manage carrier assignments and analyze costs associated with departmental operations to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Logistics
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, SAP, WMS, and ERP systems
- Ability to identify and predict potential problems within the delivery cycle using expertise in processes from factory to customer
- Experience in making process and personnel changes to meet departmental objectives
- Strong analytical skills to resolve moderate-scope problems and make informed decisions impacting business performance

- Experience in supply chain management or logistics coordination
- Familiarity with transportation documents and shipment information
- Proven ability to develop, read, and interpret shipping documents for accuracy
