What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conceptualize and design high-quality data-driven products and publications relevant to child protection and development
- Propose color palettes and photo selections that adhere to UNICEF guidelines
- Design and layout materials based on provided content, ensuring alignment with UNICEF branding
- Produce original graphics and ensure accurate representation of data visualization
- Deliver final products within tight deadlines, incorporating feedback from the CPD Unit
What is Required (Qualifications):
- First-level University degree (Bachelor’s) or equivalent in graphic design, art, communications, or relevant social science field
- Minimum of eight years of professional work experience as a designer
- Substantial experience with publication design/layout and data visualization
- High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office
- Fluency in oral and written English
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience designing products for UNICEF and familiarity with UNICEF design standards and brand guidelines
- Proven experience in designing infographics, maps, and data figures/charts
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility in meeting deadlines
