      Position Overview

      Siemens Industry is looking for a Switchboard Order Engineer to join their Spartanburg, SC location. The Switchboard Order Engineer position is responsible for completing semi-complex design drawings and creating BOMs for the construction of Switchboards per UL 891 in a timely manner with minimal errors. The candidate will report to the Switchboard Order Engineering Supervisor and will have no direct reports.


      Responsibilities
      -Review incoming order documentation and resolve all conflicts within team guidelines and goals.
      -Prepare detailed drawings, create parts, & manipulate BOMs to meet customer design specifications & conform to UL891 standards.
      -Process orders in a timely manner with minimal errors.
      -Works with Sales, Order Management, Customer Service, Assemblers, & Testing personnel to address any issues

      Requirements
      -BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer
      -Proficient with MS-Office applications.
      -Ability to read schematics and one lines
      -Highly motivated, detail oriented, with ability to maintain focus while interacting with many different internal and external teams.
      -Strong technical aptitude and analysis - ability to interpret technical product specifications and applications
      -Proficient in both written and spoken English.

      Not Required, but a Plus
      - AutoCAD, SAP, Zuken, Ebase, Teamcenter, or equivalent software knowledge
      - Technical knowledge of low voltage power distribution electrical products.
      - Minimum 2 years prior professional experience in Electrical Engineering.
      - Experience with Switchgear/Switchboards and PLC.
      - Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
      -Knowledge and experience with evaluating complex single line diagrams (SLD), relay PLC schemes, communication network diagrams.
