- Participant self-paced with 6 month maximum duration per program
- Several years of Registered Nursing Experience
- Active unencumbered RN license in primary state of residence
- Experience in a mid-level or higher management position (e.g. RN shift/unit manager)
- Several years of Registered Nursing experience
- Active unencumbered RN license in primary state of residence
- Experience in an executive leadership position (e.g. director or higher)
- Five or more years of Registered Nursing Experience
- Three years of experience in a mid-level management position (e.g. RN shift/unit manager)
- Experience with digital learning management systems (e.g. Canvas, Blackboard)
- Ten or more years of Registered Nursing experience
- Five or more years of experience in an executive leadership position (e.g. director or higher)
- Experience with digital learning management systems (e.g. Canvas, Blackboard)
- Mentoring and Coaching:
- Mentor participants enrolled in the Emerging and/or Advancing Nurse Leader Credential Program(s).
- Provide guidance and support to help participants achieve their professional goals.
- Respond to questions and provide additional support or coaching as needed throughout program duration.
- Professional Feedback:
- Review and provide professional feedback on assignments/projects per credential program
- Assignments may include topics such as staffing, resource utilization, interviewing, leadership communication (average 7 assignments per credential program)
- Anticipated time commitment for feedback per assignment is 30 minutes
- Ensure feedback is constructive, relevant, and tailored to the participant’s current role or aspired position.
- Review and provide professional feedback on assignments/projects per credential program
- Communication:
- Create and cultivate a nourishing, respectful, and inviting virtual environment for participants.
- Communicate clearly and succinctly with enough breadth and depth for understanding in an online environment.
- Maintain flexible communication timelines, ensuring feedback and mentoring occur within the program completion timeframe.
- Allow participants sufficient time to consider and implement new suggestions and strategies.
- Communicate necessary information to the LUSON Executive Leadership Team effectively and efficiently.
- Set compensation rate per student. PRN position based on enrollment.
