      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing nursing department functions
      - Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care
      - Communicate with attending physician, medical director, and families regarding resident care
      - Determine staffing needs, recruit, hire, and train nursing personnel
      - Participate in the facility's quality assurance program and serve on the Quality Assurance Committee

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Completion of an LVN program at an accredited vocational school, college, or university
      - Possession of a current Texas LVN Licensure
      - Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a skilled nursing facility
      - Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, and standing for extended periods

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Possession of a current RUG certification
      - Experience with MDS assessments and care plans
      - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      - Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance actions
      - Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
