Job Title: Production Operator - Roll Forming 750

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our Roll Forming Plant. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate a Roll Former machine to manufacture gutter down pipes. Safety is our top priority, and candidates must be vigilant in maintaining a safe working environment. This role involves operating the machine, assembling boxes, adding shipping labels, performing quality checks, and moving finished products to the warehouse using a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Operate Roll Former machine to manufacture gutter down pipes
• Assemble boxes and add shipping labels
• Perform visual inspections and measure parts with a tape measure
• Move finished products to the warehouse using a pallet jack
• Understand and operate RAM (pressure machine)
• Utilize hand tools and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude
• Previous experience as a machine operator
• Mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of RAM, metal rolling, and metal stamping processes

Work Environment

The work environment is industrial, clean, and part of a large complex. Please note that it is not climate-controlled. The working hours are Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional work on Fridays. The schedule includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute breaks. This position offers 48 hours of scheduled work per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
