Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

In this role, you will operate thermoforming machines, handling tasks such as loading large plastic sheets, running the product through the machine, and performing visual quality checks. You will be responsible for operating one machine at a time.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermoforming machines.
• Load large plastic sheets into the machine.
• Run the product through the machine.
• Perform visual quality inspections on the material after it has been processed.
• Troubleshoot minor issues such as unjamming the machine or making minor adjustments on the HMI.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of experience in machine operation.
• 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting machines.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools such as wrenches, drills, and screwdrivers.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
• Comfortable working at heights, as the machine process starts 50 feet in the air on a platform.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with plastic manufacturing.
• Experience operating thermoforming machines.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish-speaking) is a plus.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Quality inspection experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Washington Court House, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
