- Ensure all electrical components are installed, tested, and functioning in accordance with customer specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
- Participate in line up meetings for up-front planning and to ensure that estimated hours are accurate.
- Provide input during the design phase to obtain advance knowledge of job content.
- Organize material, lead, and provide technical direction to outside contractors and internal apprentices.
- Work in conjunction with the build leader and other trades to ensure jobs are completed on time according to project timelines and customer delivery schedules.
- Assume a troubleshooting role during the tryout phase of equipment.
- Provide technical assistance in the installation of equipment at customer locations.
- Experience with robots, schematics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work with 480v systems and interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency with various tools including power tools, wrenches, and sockets.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Machine Tool Electrician.
- High School Diploma.
- 5+ years of experience as a Machine Tool Electrician is preferred.
- Experience with Comau systems is a plus.

We are seeking a skilled Machine Tool Electrician to work on various projects including a 200-robot line, rotary tables, weld booths, geo tools, end of arm tooling, vision systems, and leveling and rigging. The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical components are installed, tested, and functioning in accordance with customer specifications and safety standards.

The job is based in a clean and climate-controlled facility. The newly renovated space in Auburn Hills holds multiple departments including Engineering, Sales, HR, and a Manufacturing Build floor. Employees are expected to bring their own tools.

This is a Contract position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
