- Operates Multiline Optical Character Reader (MLOCR) barcoding, sorting system, and equipment machines.
- Operates inserting system and equipment machines.
- Receives training in the operation of a variety of computerized mailing systems, to include Video Jet and address labeling systems.
- Maintains personal work area and ensures common areas are picked up, cleaned, and organized daily. Operates material handling equipment. Lifts/moves boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Operates and processes computer generated listings, as well as official Agency distributions verifying compliance to Agency, State and Federal Regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of high school.
- One (1) year of experience utilizing skill in the operation of mail barcoding/sorting equipment.
- One (1) year of experience utilizing skill in the operation of mail inserting equipment.
- One (1) year of experience utilizing skill in the operation of high speed mail equipment.
- One (1) year of experience working with mechanical mail equipment operation principles.
- One (1) year of experience following and oral and written instructions.
- One (1) year of experience processing computer generated documents ensuring compliance to Agency, State and Federal regulations.
- Requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Requires skills and dexterity in the operation of mechanical equipment.
- Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.
