What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform all aspects of the program's enrollment process
- Coordinate claims resolution and payment authorizations for breast and cervical services
- Conduct data entry and coordinate multiple MBCHP reports
- Assist clients and providers by answering calls and addressing inquiries
- Research, track, diagnose, and troubleshoot MBCHP-related issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A combination of four years of education and experience in medical eligibility programs, demonstrating interviewing and data gathering skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Experience in medical billing and claims processing
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with MaineCare and medical insurance processes
- Experience working in a healthcare-related field
