Job Summary
We are looking for an ambitious, self-driven, and highly motivated Service Engineer who will under supervision execute installation tasks and preventive maintenance tasks of a less complex nature.
You can be home-based preferably in Poznan, Warsaw, or North-East Poland.
You will be traveling approximately 80% of your time to our customer sites.
What you will do
• Participate in preparing customer site for installation events, assembling machines and conveyors
• Execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures and reinstate equipment into the production environment according to defined expectations
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical malfunctions and breakdowns. Conduct basic root cause analysis of the problem in order to ensure rapid resolution to appropriate colleagues
• Support product creation and life-cycle management
• Handle simple claims and provide technical support and guidance to escalated claims according to the claims processes, including root cause analysis
• Work in accordance with all safety regulations and requirements. Understand the importance of product quality and ensure a safe working culture in the team
• Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customer and that TP’s reputation is sustained
• Reduce customers’ operational costs, ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Execute and complete all relevant reports in an accurate and timely way. Distribute reports according to existing procedures and ensure that proper handover is done
• Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements
• Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory issuesWe believe you have
• Bachelor's degree or higher, in electronic or electro-mechanical engineering - or equal experience in the field
• Preferably 1-2 years of work experience in electro-mechanical maintenance
• Preferably 1-2 years experience in PLC, electrical and electronic systems, in general, is a big advantage
• Ability to repair machines on site
• Ability to read pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical diagrams
• Experience with filling machines is a big advantage
• Willing to travel extensively in Poland and occasionally to foreign countries
• Native level of Polish and a good command of English (writing/reporting skills are essential)
• Driving license
• Good command of computer skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Office
• Proven understanding of Customer Satisfaction and business vision
• Initiative and ability to work in a team, accountable attitude
• Customer-oriented and result-oriented attitude
• Flexibility in working outside regular working hours (evenings and weekends) based on customer needs
