Maintenance Specialist

Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM M-F or 7:00AM - 5:30PM with day off during the week

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00/hr. plus great benefits

General Summary:

This position performs basic tasks including painting and wall repair, light remodeling, managing maintenance repairs. This position will also assist with repairs on company machinery, equipment, or appliances and contribute to the overall maintenance of Harbor by detecting and reporting any concerns or need for repairs.

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform painting and wall repair along with other light remodeling duties.
• Perform or assist with repairs on company machinery, equipment, or appliances.
• Detect and report the need for repairs throughout the warehouse.
• Regularly check community spaces to identify issues with litter, mechanical failure, damage, or breakdowns.
• Respond to clients’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain the appearance of outside spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks (line painting, light repairs, etc.).
• Monitor functionality of company appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves, wash machine, dryer, stoves, ovens, and coffee makers.
• Pick up materials as needed tp complete task.
• Maintain safe working conditions in the freezer/cooler areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and basic technical knowledge.
• Positive attitude with high level of integrity.
• Passing MVR required

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work with a variety of tools and power equipment.
