Identify and troubleshoot solutions that impact facility product flow
Perform all major repairs/tasks using shop equipment: band saw, Arc and Mig welders, Torch, Hydraulic Press, drill press, lift equipment etc..
Function as a lead technician in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor
Subject matter expert of all DC technology, systems, and process flows
Maintain and troubleshoot all HVAC equipment in the facility
Perform all conveyor, forklift and electrical maintenance
Listen and ask questions to solicit feedback to understand needs and provide service
Strong technical knowledge of MHE, electrical (PLC) and automation in a distribution center environment
Ability to work, plan, and prioritize independently and in a cross functional team
Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills inclusive of exercising good judgement
Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
About the Role
In this position, you will support a continuous improvement culture that will maximize capabilities and efficiencies in our distribution centers. You will Try Fast, Learn Fast and Think Big as you develop, implement, maintain material handling equipment (MHE) and property maintenance. You will identify and effectively troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems while making sound decisions to effectively eliminate downtime.What You'll Do
