      Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.

      Your prior work experience and ability to apply your breadth of knowledge will help you adapt the standard methods and procedures. You will help us identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput and quality. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations.

      How You Will Achieve It

      • Manage own time, professional development, and accountable for own results.
      • Prioritize own workflow and assist in prioritizing the workflow of less-experienced colleagues.
      • Make useful recommendations regarding improved BMS (Building Management System) performance.
      • Follow safety procedures, recommended practices, job safety analysis (JSA), safe work always permits and complies with plant safety programs.
      • Coordinate installation of Building Automation Systems including supervision of others as directed by the Principal HVAC Engineer.
      • Read and understand detailed plans and submittals as related to specific HVAC installations of equipment and building automation systems.
      • Provide installation of control enclosures, control wiring, power wiring and conduit as required per the project drawings.
      • Install, Connect, or adjust thermostats, humidistats, or timers.
      • Provide installation of controls as necessary to ensure complete operation of newly installed and existing equipment and building automation systems.
      • Provide final termination of all control wiring as necessary.
      • Assist Project Manager with startup and commissioning of building automation systems as necessary.

      • Know general shop safety practices, including handling and storage of potentially dangerous equipment.
      • Ensure utility activities comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (also see cGMP) and other related regulatory practices.
      • Read and follow equipment schematics, blueprints logic diagrams and engineering drawings.
      • Perform calibration of facility equipment without supervision.
      • Use electrical testing equipment including multi-meters, clamp-on current meters, meggers etc. in a safe manner.
      • Analyze BMS equipment and implement resolutions.
      • Instruct other technicians in the operation and functionality of the site BMS system.
      • Design and install electrical sensors or control systems to enhance performance, and complete related corrective maintenance.
      • Create machine control logistic software and hardware for a moderate level of complexity.

      Qualifications

      Must-Have

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • 4+ years of experience
      • Advanced knowledge of Metasys installation and programing.
      • Course work {or equivalent experience} in the general or specific areas of electromechanical technology
      • Knowledge of basic mathematics
      • Knowledge of the general trades: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, machine shop, etc.
      • Possess skill to understand and execute simple to complex maintenance task for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automated systems.
      • Computer skills, good written and verbal English communication skills

      Nice-to-Have

      • Pharmaceutical and/or Bio-Pharmaceutical experience and knowledge of {Current} Good Manufacturing Practices {part of GxP} operations


      PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

      Lifting, standing, walking as well as the ability to climb stairs is required. Job requires ability to solve moderate to complex problems.

      NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

      Job my require extended hours or availability during non-scheduled hours.


      Work Location Assignment: On Premise

      First shift 6:45am to 3:15 pm Monday thru Friday

      The salary for this position ranges from $30.02 to $50.03 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
