Department Overview:
Mission Respite connects caring individuals with incredible kids to provide non-medical respite for families with a child with special needs.
Anticipated Hours Per Week
15 Schedule:
Flexible schedule based on your availability. Minimum of 9 hours per week.
Hiring for Spring and Summer positions (up to 35 hours per week).
Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $18.00 to $20.00 Number Of Positions
3 Position Summary/Job Duties:
Mission Respite is hiring dependable, compassionate individuals looking to make a difference in the life of a child with special needs. As a Respite Companion, you will provide 1:1 support for a child in their home or out in the community. By providing non-medical respite care for a child with special needs, you will provide an opportunity for the parent/primary caregiver to take a break from the demanding role of caregiving. Plus you will provide companionship and have fun with an Incredible Kid!
Part-time, flexible scheduling with a minimum of 9 hours per week, up to 25 hours per week. $18-20 per hour plus weekly pay on Fridays.
Activities you could participate in include: being active outdoors, crafts, thrifing, baking, playing games, swimming, reading, teaching and building a rewarding relationship. We strive to match you with an Incredible Kid with similar interests and availability.
