What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze current and future payor contract terms to support negotiations and renewals
- Gather and maintain performance data on denials, collections, and key indicators
- Act as a liaison with joint venture partners to produce forecasting and budgeting models
- Conduct research on government healthcare reimbursement changes and communicate findings
- Prepare and coordinate managed care meetings with health system partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS or BA degree in a related field
- Completed coursework in statistics or demonstrated working knowledge of statistical analysis
- At least 1 year of work experience in healthcare finance, economics, or managed care
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Working knowledge of SQL or other programming languages (SAS, R, SPSS, etc.)
- Familiarity with healthcare industry code systems (ICD, CPT, NDC, etc.)
- Experience in leading managed-care initiatives or data requests from joint venture partners
