      The following are the duties of this position at the GS-5. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

      Qualifications


      You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

      Specialized Experience: For the GS-3 grade level, general experience must include 6 months of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.

      OR Education:
      1 year above high school. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.

      OR Combination: You may qualify with a combination of qualifying education and experience. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify for that grade level.

      For the GS-2 grade level, general experience must include 3 months of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.

      OR Education:
      High school graduate or equivalent.

      Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
