- Thinks strategically and aligns group goals and objectives with the broader S+C and Bank strategic direction and goals; leads with a broader focus on strengthening the overall support provided to supervisory teams in support of Group wide efforts to enhance core supervision.
- Manages and directs the activities of the Resource Management Group, including oversight for all aspects of the scheduling, time reporting, and operations functions.
- Ensures that the Resource Management Group delivers optimal resource solutions by assessing business needs and identifying resource solutions based on data driven scenario analysis and engagement with examination business line leaders.
- Assesses the skill level of individuals in various positions and ensures an effective matching of examiner skills, development needs and resource requirements through coordination with exam leadership, the RMG, and the S+C Talent & Development team to meet staff and individual developmental goals and support succession planning for day-to-day business needs and long-term strategic goals.
- Leads and participates in Group and System wide projects that influence the technology and business processes of the supervision function.
- Sets priorities, ensures accountability, reviews work products, and manage individual and team performance. Drives talent management initiatives for the team which include coaching, championing in-role development, supporting employee development goals and building a strong talent pipeline within S+C. Ensures all processes and functions are efficient and effective, yielding strong risk management and quality assurance results.
- Embraces and executes change through frequent communication to staff and stakeholders.
- Engages with leadership to present findings on demand analysis and reports on various metrics.
- An applicant for employment must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or hold a permanent resident/green card with intent to become a U.S. Citizen.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A bachelor’s degree is field related to functional areas of responsibility or Business Management, however equivalent work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree; master’s degree is desired.
- A minimum of seven years of relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in managing and leading teams.
- Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships, and influence individuals at all levels across the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Teams.
- This position requires access to confidential supervisory information, which is limited to “Protected Individuals.” Protected Individuals include, but are not limited to, U.S. citizens and U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents who are not yet eligible to apply for naturalization, and U.S. permanent residents who have applied for naturalization within six months of being eligible to do so or who will sign a declaration of intent to apply for naturalization before they begin employment.

As a Business Operations Manager of the Resource Management Group (RMG) in the Supervisory Operations team, you will be a strategic partner with Central Points of Contact (CPCs) and Officers in ensuring examinations and inspections are appropriately staffed with commissioned, credentialed team members. You will lead the team that provides critical support to our supervisory mission, including:
Assisting supervisory teams with supervisory planning and resource allocation, along with identifying, reporting and acting upon broader S+C supply-versus-demand needs. Orchestrating assignments based on mandates, areas of expertise, on-the-job training and development priorities, and in consideration of broader System resource needs, when necessary. Managing people and process for key programs and administrative functions, such as the credentials program, training administration, time reporting for our supervisory workforce, and analytical support.
As a people leader, you will operate within the People Leader Expectation Framework to lead, develop, empower and inspire your team in an inclusive way.
Supervision experience is not required.

Base Salary Range: Min: $111,500 - Mid: $144,900 - Max: $178,200 (Location: Los Angeles)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
