The McKesson Treasury team is hiring a Manager, Capital Markets located in Irving, TX or Alpharetta, GA.
Position Description
McKesson’s Treasury team is seeking a Manager, Capital Markets to provide operational support for the company’s borrowing arrangements, capital markets activities, and benefit plans. The role will report to the Vice President – Capital Markets and will provide exposure to a wide breadth of Treasury activities, allowing the individual to collaborate with both internal and external business partners. The ideal candidate should have a Finance or Accounting background with proficiency in building and leveraging financial reporting systems, modeling moderate to complex financial problems, and creating successful business partnerships across finance and non-finance disciplines. Prior Capital Markets experience is strongly preferred from a large corporate institution.
Key Responsibilities
· Operational and analytical support for short-term and long-term borrowing arrangements, hedging activities and share repurchases;
· Forecasting - preparation and communication of the interest expense / interest income forecasts. Collaboration with other business units and corporate teams to incorporate their input and assumptions; evaluate budget to actual and forecast to actual variances and deviations and communicate the results to various stakeholders;
· Risk management – support the company’s hedging strategies by executing, valuing, and managing derivative trades to hedge FX, interest rates and other operational and economic risks;
· Monthly reporting – support the ongoing compilation of Treasury’s monthly CFO reporting dashboard and other executive leadership communications;
· Quarterly Board reporting – work closely with the Vice President, Capital Markets on the development of Treasury’s quarterly Board of Directors reporting packages;
· Project management - lead cross functional projects to build more robust Treasury reporting capabilities in the Treasury workstation (FIS) as well as other ongoing IT projects, including Bloomberg Mars Heff management for valuation of the derivative portfolio;
· Investment management – support the oversight of investment strategies and performance of the Company’s retirement plans, including the 401(K) and deferred compensation plans;
· Cash management – collaborate with Treasury Operations team on cash management activities, short term financing needs and serve as back up for daily cash positioning responsibilities and trades;
· Vendor management – manage operational aspects of relationships with various external vendors, including banks, credit rating agencies, investment managers and retirement plan administrators
· Audit, external reporting, and investor relations support –support various parties on audit (internal and external) requests, external reporting requirements and investor relations communications
· Be prepared to lead and execute special projects and ad hoc initiatives
Minimum Requirements
Relevant degree and 5+ years of Treasury and/or other finance or accounting experience
Critical Skills
· Experience in debt capital markets, equity capital markets, derivative instruments, and other areas of capital markets
· Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel
· Forecasting and analytical skills
· Experience with financial audits and SOX compliance testing
· Strong team player with ability to influence others in a project setting
· Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize various responsibilities with competing deadlines
· Prior experience with Bloomberg and FIS preferred
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required; advance degree preferred
Environment
Traditional office requirements. Large percentage of time performing computer-based work is required. Must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
