      Description:


      Manage the operations and departmental staff that support the development and delivery of targeted educational programs for multiple clinical roles within and across the organization. This encompasses continuous professional development, compliance with safety standards, credentialing, and curriculum development for medical education, nursing, and/or allied health, including medical Residents and Fellows. The Manager plays a crucial role in working with stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, allied health providers, clinical faculty, program directors, and clinical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to advance the quality of online teaching and learning, focusing on achieving excellence at all levels of leadership, administration, and strategy. Additionally, the Manager aligns the department's activities with the strategic priorities set by Academics senior leadership to enhance learning outcomes.

      Qualifications:


      • Masters


      • Master's degree in education, Instructional Design, E-Learning/Technology, or related field OR a master's degree in a relevant healthcare discipline and at least five years of appropriate experience
      • A minimum of five (5) years in an online Higher Education academic institution/program leadership position with commensurate credentials and experience as an educator that includes curriculum development and instructional design experience OR a credentialed instructional designer with a master's degree in education instructional design for a minimum of five (5) years
      • Must have logistical and technical experience in medical education, nursing and/or allied health
      • Ability to design, develop, and measure learning programs that improve the quality and performance of healthcare teams, increase the skills of existing staff, and educate the next generation of professionals
      • Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary and online andragogical methods, written and verbal communication skills, and experience using and implementing online teaching tools/strategies
