- Own end-to-end delivery of analytics projects, ensuring on-time completion within budget.
- Utilize Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage project scope, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Track and report project progress to stakeholders.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPI) for the BI and analytics initiatives, ensuring that these metrics are clearly communicated to leadership, stakeholders and partners.
- Own the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and actionable data insights to business stakeholders by integrating quality assurance and deliverable validation steps in the development process, ensuring the integration of clean, accurate data.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party deliverables when applicable.
- Provide technical leadership in business intelligence architecture, data modeling, and reporting, ensuring that the team is following best practice and aligning with the company’s BI strategy for reporting and analytics as well as Cloud technologies.
- Assist the team in identifying and overcoming technical challenges, providing solutions to remove blockers and improve team efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in business intelligence and data visualization and introduce cutting-edge innovations into the team's practices
- Drive best practices in analytics development using Power BI, Databricks, and Azure cloud technologies
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure efficient data pipeline operations and data science team to align analytics solutions with machine learning and predictive modeling initiatives.
- Lead resource planning and allocation across multiple projects, ensuring the right skills are available for various projects
- Manage team performance, career development, and growth opportunities
- Handle all aspects of people management including hiring, performance reviews, and professional development
- Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes knowledge sharing and innovation
- Implement and maintain Agile development practices using Azure DevOps
- Oversee the execution of the business intelligence and analytics roadmap, ensuring that analytics initiatives align with business objectives, are completed on time and within budget.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes and methodologies.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen by understanding organizational goals, market trends, and financial principles, translating business needs into technology solutions, and driving initiatives that deliver measurable value, drive business decisions and offer competitive advantage
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, business intelligence, Information systems, or equivalent work experience
- 7-10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields with a focus on managing technical teams.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, with responsibility for people management and performance management.
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting BI, and Data analytics applications in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of modern analytics technologies including:
- Power BI or similar BI tools
- Azure cloud data services
- Data analytics architecture, SQL and data warehousing concepts
- Agile development methodologies including Azure DevOps principles, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Excellence in stakeholder management and communication
- Proven track record of leading and growing technical teams
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies

This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise in data analytics and management experience to foster team growth, deliver business-critical insights, execute data initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. This role will also manage resource planning, project execution, and HR responsibilities.

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $112,160.00 - $176,645.00 USD annually for full time employees.
