      About the Role

      We are looking for a leader responsible for managing the monthly Brand Forecast and Annual Budget as it relates to Rent, Occupancy, Depreciation (ROD) and Other Income. The forecast and budget for ROD includes all brands and channels for US and Canada. This role is responsible for oversight and review of the ROD forecast for the assigned brands, including reconciliation of the forecast inputs against final accounting results, reporting those results, and providing detailed variance explanations to Director, Sr. Director, and VP level Business Partners. This position also provides information to support Long Range Planning, Market Planning, and Real Estate deal negotiations.

      This position partners with the Brand FP&A teams and various Real Estate teams to confirm alignment and provide guidance to ensure business understanding of the forecasting and accounting implications resulting from operational decisions. This position requires Collaboration & Influencing, Learning Agility, and Resourcefulness to enable timely resolution of forecast and budget. This position partners cross functionally to align on issue resolution, process and control alignment, the development of new/improved processes, and reporting & communication plans.

      What You'll Do

      • Lead a team of finance professionals, including providing regular performance feedback and development opportunities in both technical and behavioral competencies

      • Serve as a key point of contact for forecast related questions and escalation for team and stakeholders across the organization

      • Establishes partnerships with cross functional leadership to gain cooperation in developing solutions

      • Responsible for the quality and integrity of monthly forecasts and annual budget submissions

      • Provides guidance on level of risk and opportunities to the forecast and budget

      • Prepare monthly roundtable presentations and present cause of change from budget/prior forecast

      • Analyze and interpret actual results against forecast, preparing trend, regional and variance analysis

      Who You Are

      • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact across teams and at varying levels of management

      • Proven forecast and/or budgeting and critical thinking skills from both a deliverable and management perspective

      • Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions

      • Ability to direct team toward the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives while promoting a positive working environment with focus on building effective teams.

      • Managerial courage to accurately assess and provide candid timely feedback with specific actionable guidance for ongoing development
