      Description:

      We are looking for a strategic leader with expertise in gaming and consumer electronics product marketing to lead our gaming product and portfolio marketing strategy team. The successful candidate will report to the Global Head of Product and Portfolio Marketing and will have the opportunity to influence product marketing strategies across HP's gaming brands: OMEN and HyperX.

      As a leader, your primary challenge will be to ensure we have cohesive, differentiated product marketing strategies across our expanding portfolio and to lead impactful product launches that engage our global consumer base. You will also be responsible for nurturing and developing a talented team as well as working alongside our world-class agencies and in-house creative teams to deliver innovative and compelling marketing assets for our gaming portfolio.

      The ideal candidate will have a proven record of delivering world class product marketing and strategy. A deep understanding of the gaming community or a strong interest in familiarizing themselves with the audience and products that make up OMEN and HyperX’s portfolios is preferred.

      Roles and Responsibilities:

      • Lead cross-organizational effort to orchestrate world class product launches
      • Work with your team and product management to develop truly effective product positioning
      • Develop coherent portfolio positioning & narrative and work with your comms & corp affairs colleagues to tell that story effectively during product launches and relevant events
      • Work with relevant stakeholders across the business to develop and execute true 4P plans
      • Create clear strategic and creative briefs and deliver impactful product storytelling content throughout the funnel
      • Manage internal and external creative teams to deliver world-class content and assets
      • Lead collaboration with key stakeholders across the full organization (product management, product design, category, sales, comms, web, social and community, local marketing and program management)
      • Responsible for delivering projects and programs on time and on cost managing deliverables and budgets precisely.

      Experience and Expertise Requirements:

      • Minimum of 10 years in marketing roles with at least 3 years in managerial or senior IC capacity.
      • Depth of product marketing expertise as a discipline across gaming and/or consumer electronics through full marketing funnel and product lifecycle
      • Proven track record in insights and data-led strategic communications planning that informs truly effective product positioning and clear creative briefs
      • Experience managing multiple projects across teams and geographies, to deliver to deadlines, quality, and cost.
      • Deep understanding of the role of creative across the entire mix with an acute ability to ascertain great from average creative.
      • Ability to interact with all levels of the company, from top to bottom.
      • Budget planning and process management skills.
      • Driven, motivated, collaborative with experience of coaching and mentoring
      • Ideally, with two prior roles geographically i.e., in global + regional/country.
      • Full professional fluency in English.
