Brief Description: The Manager role will support Global Procurement US Commercial providing procurement category, market analysis, and decision-making support for the US Commercial Business Unit and Cross-Functions. The role will report to the Senior Director, Global Procurement and be expected to act objectively in the interests of the Procurement organization and more broadly of Jazz, whilst partnering effectively with the US Commercial business. This individual will be a member of and provide critical procurement, category, and strategic consultation to the US Commercial Category Team. The individual will be expected to input broadly across US Commercial Business and to have a good understanding of business specific issues and priorities, including (but not limited) commercialization, and functional activities that will enable Jazz to scale and grow. Good communication skills, a broad knowledge of procurement, and the ability to influence outside of procurement and finance will be essential. The role will require travel to the Jazz offices, supplier sites and other meetings locations as necessary. The following responsibilities will be in-scope: Develop and execute on Key Programs: a Supplier Relationship Management Program, in line with Global Procurement’s vision, to advance the partnership between Jazz and its suppliers. Developing the governance model, conducting vendor segmentation, gaining buy-in from the business owners, developing a category-wide set of key performance indicators and implementing the infrastructure to support ongoing efforts. advance the Preferred Supplier Program by building a consolidate source of truth on contacts, pricing, RFx participation, etc. In addition to establishing a frequent communication channel and innovation forums. a working model to support Coupa transactions and approvals in addition to leveraging Coupa’s capabilities for fit-for-purpose reporting to provide visibility of US Commercial spend and trends Initiate a study and business case on implementing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative Lead and Support Category Management: As a sub-category lead, accountable for developing, executing, and improving strategies to deliver sustainable results across certain categories and subcategories. The Manager will act as a business partner and work with business stakeholders to define business needs, assess and analyze spend, establish sourcing strategy, conduct the RFx process, make vendor selections, conduct contract negotiations, optimize vendor cost/performance, and manage vendor relationships. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Minimum 5 years Procurement experience with progressive responsibility Excellent computer literacy coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Office and business analytics tools needed to create persuasive presentation materials Excellent verbal and written communication and skills including the ability to effectively tailor communication to varying levels within the organization Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external team members Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Commercially astute Proven track record of driving change Proven track record of significant cost reduction Required/Preferred Education and Licenses Bachelor's degree in business, science or a related field Experience with Coupa’s Business Spend Management Platform (all Source to Pay modules) preferred Jazz Pharmaceuticals is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any characteristic protected by law. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $100,000-$131,250. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
