      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Research and develop at least 20-25 proposal submissions annually for public and private grants and contracts
      - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize, write, and coordinate grant proposals
      - Identify relevant public and private grant opportunities that align with the organization's initiatives
      - Prepare project plans with assigned deliverables and manage projects against proposal timelines
      - Support the planning and implementation of NACHC conference education and activities

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience in grant and proposal development
      - Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
      - Significant experience in private and public grant proposal development and contracts
      - Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and interest in mastering new skills
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with project management platforms

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with completing logic models and project workplans
      - Familiarity with grants.gov and federal platforms for granting or contracting
      - Experience in developing collateral materials and templates for funding proposals
      - Participation in cross-organizational workgroups or teams related to diversity, equity, and inclusion
