      ABOUT THE ROLE

      We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to fill the role of Manager, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). This position reports to the Director, Enterprise Risk Management and will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to various risk programs, with an emphasis on governance. This is a high-pressure role that requires excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

      WHAT YOU’LL DO

      • Develop and administer governance practices and processes for policies, procedures, and standards.
      • Organize and administer a governance framework for the committee structure of the Bank.
      • Develop and maintain the centralized policy library, policy review tracking and reporting processes, and ensure ease of reference for all stakeholders.
      • Assist with the coordination of risk assessments, and the sourcing and reporting of key risk metrics.
      • Assist in developing ongoing communications and training initiatives related to risk management.
      • Prepare and review reports, presentations, and other documentation, ensuring that they are accurate and meet our required standards and expectations.
      • Coordinate closely with the Director, IRM to drive execution and reporting of initiatives across the IRM Team.
      • Coordinate with all the Chief Compliance Officer and Head of IRM, the Chief Risk Officer, as well as other members of the full leadership team on the status of ongoing IRM initiatives.
      • Assist in risk event coordination and reporting across the organization.
      • Maintain and manage confidential information, documents, and records.

      EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
      • Proven experience in working with executive leadership.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
      • Critical and analytical thinking.
      • 8+ years of experience in banking with an emphasis in risk-related functions such as enterprise risk management, compliance or internal audit.
      • Ability to research, collect and analyze complex or diverse information.
      • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
      • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
      • Knowledge of other relevant software preferred (e.g., Sharepoint, WDesk, LogicGate).
      • Experience in designing presentation materials (e.g., PPT, reports, newsletters) intended for management, executive leadership and the Board. Experience with Canva preferred.
