Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The adidas Internal Communication team help connect our people to our brand, strategy and purpose through impactful storylines and employee engagement activity. This is a key role in the North Europe and Europe internal comms teams which will help to reach and influence employees from across the UK, Nordics and Benelux.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage employee communication and engagement activities in line with the North Europe Communication Plan.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to inspire and drive positive employee engagement, support creating a more diverse and inclusive culture, and contribute to the department's KPIs across adidas owned corporate media internal channels
• Help to develop and deliver the North Europe internal communication and employee engagement plans, creating regular moments for employees to connect and collaborate.
• Work closely with senior leaders across North Europe in the UK, Nordics and Benelux as an internal communication partner and communication consultant to support delivering impactful communication and landing global key messages and Europe relevant content across key internal channels, based on HQ strategy and key messages
• Support in executing and elevating all of the General Manager & Senior Leadership Team North Europe communication and content across local communication channels
• Lead on all the logistics, production, and event management and requirements for all-employee facing meetings, ensuring a smooth broadcast to different locations if applicable.
• Own editorial content and calendar management for our internal channels, aligning North Europe plans with Europe and Global calendars.
• Elevate UK, Nordics and Benelux success stories or moments across North Europe/Europe by developing impactful storylines, internal articles and content and publishing in key internal channels
• Develop quarterly review reports by extracting KPI data from the key internal communication channels, assess qualitative & quantitative performance and key insights
• Execute communication strategies and plan for change communications for key stakeholders – in line with HQ’s guidelines and standards
• Support in managing potential crisis/issues communication across locations based on Europe & North Europe direction
• Budget responsibility for assigned area of responsibility

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 3-4 years of working experience in a Corporate/ Internal Communication department or digital social media agency
• Preferably at least 2 years of working experience in partnering closely with leaders and developing leadership communication
• Experience in working with or within HR or interest in community organizing, public policy, and diversity, equity and inclusion is a plus
• Thorough understanding of the complexity, interactions, and dynamics within an international company
• Comprehensive understanding of communication and business acumen
• Excellent project & event management skills and coordinating content for activities/events
• Some experience in managing physical and virtual production, including live interactive broadcast events
• Excellent storytelling and creative visual skills, including video production and slide design
• Ability to think and act strategically and support developing operational plans
• Strong communication skills to negotiate with internal and/or external partners with possible divergent interests and with different business areas
