- Conceptualize, design, and manage key consumer and market insight projects across multiple practices and business units. Potential primary and secondary market research projects include market sizing, competitive analysis, market trends, product concept testing, product optimization, pricing, and customer satisfaction/NPS. Market research insights will support strategic planning, product development, marketing communications, customer retention, and omni-channel customer experience.
- Serve as the market research and insights subject matter expert for the organization, able to articulate a deep understanding and knowledge of primary and secondary research methodologies - both qualitative and quantitative.
- Translate data analysis into customer and market insights that inform business decisions. Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Own and manage the entire market research process (i.e., define objectives, questionnaire/guide development, analysis (including advanced statistical analysis, as needed), reporting, etc.).
- Communicate and present findings in written and oral form to partners, including senior management.
- Work closely with vendors, internal partners, and agencies to ensure research is executed on schedule and within budget, when applicable.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
- 6-10 years of work experience
- 5-7 years of customer insights and market research background with experience at either a research supplier or in-house at a corporation.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of consumer behavior, needs, and motivations.
- Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and business partners.
- Strong communication and influencing skills; able to work effectively at all levels in an organization and establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality customer and market insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence effectively.
- Strong project management experience.
- Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and business partners (internal and external).
- Is a team player who collaborates with peers.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R).

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a remote position. Minimal travel - 0-2 trips per year. Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job.
