Manage a team of accounts payable clerks and supervisors, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Develop and implement efficient accounts payable processes and procedures specific to EPC projects, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
Review and approve invoices related to the EPC project, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Coordinate with procurement/contracts team, vendors and subcontractors to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions for the EPC project and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports specific to the EPC project, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams involved in the EPC project to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in accounts payable for EPC projects.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounts payable, with at least 5 years in an active managerial role.
Strong knowledge of transaction processing, specifically in the context of cost reimbursable EPC projects.
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Manager of Accounts Payable will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process for our EPC project in San Antonio, Texas. This role requires strong knowledge of accounts payable in the context of engineering, procurement, and construction projects.
