We are seeking to fill the role of Manager of Cryopreservation Services. If you have at least 3 years of leadership experience, have worked in women's health in a shared services and customer service-oriented environment, this may be a great fit for you! This position is responsible for the leadership and management of the Cryo Storage Billing, Collections and Tissue Transport processes for the Prelude Network as well as overseeing the daily operations for the centralized Cryo Services Team.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with practice leadership teams to ensure smooth daily Cryo Services shared services operations. Partners on establishing department goals, tracking progress for quality improvement, fiscal productivity and patient satisfaction. Defines key measures of departmental operations, monitors indicators for process improvement, ensures compliance, and promotes patient experience.
• Fosters a customer service-oriented environment, addressing patient complaints and concerns promptly and escalating when appropriate. Identifies improvement opportunities and actively participates in resolving problems, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ensures the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for quality employee experience and patient care.

Managerial Responsibilities:

Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with leadership philosophy, policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include leading by example; providing mentoring and guidance to mid-level and junior employees, formally executing the performance management process; fulfilling staffing needs and workforce planning; interviewing, hiring and training employees; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsibilities not limited to:

• Manage all aspects of the Cryo Services call center operations. Implement workflow changes as needed.
• Review/Approve and manage team timesheets/PTO.
• Staff matrix: ensure optimized staffing mix. Interview, hire, and onboard new staff.
• Complete staff performance reviews
• Manage performance improvement plans/verbal and or written warnings/separation of employment.
• Schedule and coordinate regular team meetings and quarterly team events.
• Manage vendor relationships: Approve/review invoices for vendors.
• Manage relationships with Network facility/lab staff.
• Onboard new facilities/labs to the cryo teams shared services model.
• Manage individual patient cryo tissue transport requests.
• Coordinate bulk tissue transports between labs.
• Manage tissue COD (Change of Disposition) consent process.
• Manage cryo tissue storage collections and abandonment processes.
• Manage special projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with physicians/providers, medical practice office staff, or other medical specialties, women’s health preferred.
