- Manages a team of claims professionals who handle PIP billing for treatment arising out Auto insurance.
- Manages workflow and ensures quality control.
- Reviews case authority and reserves on claims.
- Accountable for reviewing, auditing, and approving legal expenses and fees.
- Responsible for hiring, employee development, performance evaluation, counseling, and all manager related administrative functions.
- Responsible for ensuring claim documentation records are current and complete across the team.
- Ensures that all policies and procedures, including compliance, regulatory, performance and customer service standards are met or exceeded.
- Within authority limit, independently analyzes, and helps support, investigate, negotiate and resolve claims/litigation.
- Builds and oversees a team of employees for assigned functional area through ongoing execution of recruiting, development, retention, coaching and support, performance management, and managerial activities.
- Accountable to deliver on department goals.
- Collaborates with counsel on litigation if necessary.
- Claims supervisor experience required
- Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 2+ years of PIP/MP claims handling experience and/or experience handling complex litigation claims preferred

Manages unit of assigned FPM Supervisors. Responsible for workflow, administration, developing employee technical skills, and evaluating performance of FPM Supervisors. Provides high-level technical advice and supervision on litigated cases.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position is available in all GEICO offices.

Annual Salary
$89,000.00 - $168,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
