      What you'll do...

      Position Summary:
      We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and execute projects related to Walmart Marketplace events. You’ll lead project management for the marquee global summit for the Walmart Marketplace seller community and play a key role in ensuring seamless execution of activations at trade shows and events. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of talented events professionals who engage third-party sellers and showcase the boundless opportunities for their businesses to grow at Walmart. This role requires strong project management expertise, a focus on operational efficiency, and the ability to manage payments, budgets, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a strong collaborator and communicator, comfortable with ambiguity, and detail-oriented in their work.

      Project Management:

      • Serve as a project manager for the Walmart Marketplace marquee global summit, partnering with the Walmart Event Solutions team.
      • Develop and implement project management processes for Marketplace events and related initiatives, including outlining timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
      • Monitor project progress, for both the marquee global summit as well as identified Marketplace events, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
      • Identify opportunities to improve project workflows and financial processes for increased efficiency for both the global summit as well as identified Marketplace events.
      • Develop standardized templates and tools for project tracking, reporting, and budget management and implement best practices to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
      • Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
      • Communicate project updates, timelines, and deliverables to stakeholders regularly.
      • Maintain detailed records of project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and post-project evaluations.
      • Create comprehensive project reports, highlighting successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
      • Track project outcomes against defined KPIs, including budget adherence, timeline completion, and stakeholder satisfaction.
      • Oversee vendor contracts, procurement processes, and invoicing to ensure timely payments and proper documentation.
      • Ensure all projects comply with company policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
      • Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement and future success.
      • Manage project budgets, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and adherence to financial guidelines.

      Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field.
      • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or event-driven industries.
      • Strong understanding of project management or communications principles, industry regulations, and best practices.
      • Demonstrated experience managing budgets and project processes.

      • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana)
      • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
      • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.

      • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

      Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649:The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$156,000.00

      Bentonville, Arkansas US-10883:The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

      Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

      Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years’ experience in project management, business, operations, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in project management, business, operations, or related area.
