      COLORADO

      Pursuant to Colorado regulation, the annual salary range for this position is $123,100 to $150,000. Placement within this range is dependent upon experience and education.       KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

      • Responsible for advising local offices, practice groups, and individual attorneys in their client & business development efforts.

      • Responsible for partnering with Office Managing Shareholders (“OMS”) and or Practice Group Chairs to develop and execute strategic plans with measurable goals designed to drive awareness and revenue to the office or practice group. Plans also include level-appropriate curriculum and support designed to educate and grow relevant attorney’s business development acumen.

      • Responsible for identifying leads from events and special initiatives, as well as managing /nurturing leads in partnership with attorneys through the entire sales cycle (i.e. lead, proposal, pitch, decision).

      • Responsible for managing our response to proposals/pitches in partnership with attorneys and corporate BD team members. This includes opportunity assessment, competitive intelligence, identifying value proposition, coordinating various components of the proposal, and leading overall strategy from beginning to end.

      • Responsible for understanding and being able to communicate Littler’s value proposition, portfolio of services, and innovative offerings.

      • Partner with Business Insights, Knowledge Management, and other firm resources to understand market trends related to L&E law, individual markets, and practice groups.

      • Partner with Business Development leadership to execute firmwide business development projects / initiatives as assigned, according to ability and capacity.

      • Responsible for partnering with communications team on certain legal rankings and directories, primarily Chambers.

      • Responsible for providing coordination, direction and oversight for regional seminars and conference sponsorships. Develop and implement high-level partnering relationships with professional organizations, industry associations and educational institutions to identify leadership positions, speaking and conference presentation opportunities and sources of referral for attorneys.

      • Responsible for providing MBD department orientations for new attorneys and staff -- giving an overview of the department roles and responsibilities.

      • Responsible for providing input into the development of firm marketing materials and ensure that offices within the region have the necessary client development materials available to them.

      • Perform such other/additional duties as may from time to time be assigned.

      TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

      • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work successfully with attorneys, clients, staff, community and vendors.

      • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and partner effectively with a diverse group of attorneys and staff and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact. Ability to represent the firm in a favorable and businesslike manner.

      • Individual should be a proactive, independent thinker who is action-oriented and sensitive to both local market needs and overall Firm direction. This may include recommending against certain programs to attorneys and providing alternative ideas.

      • Strong ability to communicate effectively and persuasively (written and oral).

      • Strong ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.

      • Strong ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under aggressive time constraints.

      • Strong ability to proofread typed material for grammatical, typographical and spelling errors.

      • Capable of working remotely and independently while participating as a team member.

      • Flexibility to travel to respective territories on a scheduled basis.

      • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position; may require irregular hours such as weekend, evening and early-morning hours.

      • Occasional back up to other Regional team members who are out of the office (i.e., paid time off, sick time, FMLA).

      • Knowledge and strong proficiency with Microsoft Work, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint – CRM knowledge a plus.

      EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

      Required: Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Marketing, Communications or business related areas or equivalent on the job experience.

      EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

      7-8 years marketing and/or business development experience preferably in a multi-office law firm environment or in a professional services environment

      WORKING CONDITIONS (Environment within which the work is performed):

      HYBRID:

      This position will be following a hybrid work schedule with the flexibility of working remotely and in-office. Management will determine work schedule and may alter schedule to align with business needs. Office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. This position will comply with all Firm policies including the Hybrid obligations of the Firm’s Employee Information Governance Policy.
