      Athletes Unlimited is looking for a Manager, Social Media to drive the day-to-day execution of our social media strategy, ensuring an engaging and dynamic presence across our @auprosports social media platforms. This role will be responsible for planning, creating, and posting content, fostering community engagement, and collaborating with internal teams to amplify key brand messages. This position is full-time, remote, and reports to Director, Social & Content.

      Responsibilities

      • Plan, ideate, create and post content for Athletes Unlimited social media platforms – including rolling coverage on weekdays, evenings and weekends
      • Curate and drive the voice for Athletes Unlimited by executing day-to-day social posting and maintaining community engagement strategies for all social media platforms (et al. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Tiktok, and Youtube)
      • Oversee and manage Social Media Coordinators and/or freelancers
      • Keep up-to-date on emerging trends, milestones and impactful moments across the women’s sports landscape
      • Oversee weekly, monthly and season Key Performance Indicators, reporting on trends and insights as they relate to overarching AU goals and initiatives
      • Collaborate intra and inter-departmentally across the organization (Partnerships, Communications, Marketing, Impact, Graphics, Video) to ensure organizational objectives are met
      • Work hand-in-hand with graphics, photo and video to ideate social creative, campaigns, and trending content

      • 3-5 years of experience in Social Media, Marketing or Communications
      • Prior experience managing direct reports
      • Prior experience with a collegiate or professional sports organization
      • A link to a portfolio of past work must be included via cover letter or resume
      • Strong communication and editorial skills
      • An innovative attitude and creative spirit
      • Willingness and ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
      • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% per season
      • Legal authorization to work in the United States

      This role is full-time, remote, and is compensated at a range of $54,000-$65,000 annually. While this is the intended range, the actual compensation may vary based on several factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, and geographic location of the position. We anticipate the highest end of the range will be reserved for those who exceed the hiring committee’s expectations on all measures of the evaluation process.
