Manager, Supplier Quality Control (MAQUET Cardiovascular, LLC; Wayne, New Jersey) : Reports to Director Supply Chain; ; responsible for managing the quality control of suppliers who provide raw material for our product manufacturing; plan, direct and coordinate the quality of our suppliers’ program including formulating company quality control policies and procedures; leads the CS/VI Supplier Quality program and executes associated systems, processes, programs/initiatives, practices, and metrics for ensuring and improving overall supplier quality performance; partners with quality leaders as well as representatives from Sourcing/Supply Chain, R & D, Operations, and other functions to lead and collaborate on Supplier Quality Management improvements. Duties include: developing and managing the department to assess and ensure compliance to the FDA Quality System Regulations CFR Part 820, ISO 13485 Quality System Standard, MDD, CMDR, WHLW, ANVISA, JPAL and other applicable regulations; leading the supplier quality team and coordinating efforts to evaluate, select, qualify, rate, monitor and improve supplier quality; ensuring that supplier quality personnel maintain the required skill level to address compliance issues and to understand the technical aspects of compliance; developing risk based programs for supplier qualifications and supplier performance and productivity improvement; creating benchmark/reports that measure and track supplier quality performance to identify opportunities for improvements; overseeing validations and qualifications of supplier facility to qualify manufacturing processes and overall quality of part/component manufacturing; and responsible for supporting the Incoming Inspection Process.
Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week. During any internal or FDA audits, the employee may be requested to be on site 5 days a week.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related Life Sciences field or equivalent , plus two (2) years of experience in a supplier quality engineering role.
Must have : Must have a strong background in administering Supplier Corrective Action Programs, supplier audit process, and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
