      Joining as a pivotal member reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Contracts (Subcontracts), you'll become an integral part of the Mission Systems Supply Chain team. Your role isn't just about managing contracts; it's about being a strategic collaborator, a linchpin connecting various facets of our business. You'll engage closely with our business partners, ensuring seamless coordination on all supply chain contract affairs.

      This position is a Remote role: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

      What You Will Do

      • Drafts, generates, negotiates, interprets, and manages complex contract documents, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules and requests, to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives.
      • Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters.
      • Manages small to medium sized projects, primarily focused on supply chain contracts supporting various U.S. Government Contract prime contracts, requiring excellent organizational skills.
      • Reviews contractual terms and conditions for their acceptability, as well as assessing the risk and impact. Analyzes contracts to ensure compliance to company policies, government and commercial requirements.
      • Prepares negotiation plans and contract reviews on a regular basis.
      • Uses legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and subsequently addressed through development of unique contract terms and conditions.
      • Briefs team leader and other functional areas on contract status, risk mitigation and contingency plans based on developed recommendations.
      • Identifies opportunities to streamline workflow and improve quality of work product.
      • Track and report key functional metrics to improve effectiveness.
      • Represents the organization on legal issues concerning contract matters.
      • Provides legal advice on contractual matters and contract administration.
      • Maintains historical contract approval, negotiation, and legal records.

      Qualifications You Must Have

      • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information related to these programs/contracts.
      • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

      Qualifications We Prefer

      • Juris Doctor or Advanced Degree in Business Administration
      • Experience in commercial contracting
      • Experience in aerospace and/or government contracting

      The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
