- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of sophisticated reporting and dashboard solutions using Tableau
- Deliver medium to large complexity dashboards as part of a project team
- Prioritize design best practices, with a strong focus on user experience within the dashboard
- Provide operational production support for the dashboards on Tableau Server including the creation of monthly and quarterly executive scorecards
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Create materials to support comprehensive user training for our Tableau solutions
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that solutions align with business requirements and objectives
- Partner with data engineering to understand the data architecture and schema
- Perform thorough and extensive quality testing of Tableau Dashboards ensuring the data is accurate and up-to-date.
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Intermediate to advanced Tableau development skills and knowledge of interactive data visualization best practices
- Basic SQL skills
- Proficiency in all MS Office applications with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Tableau Desktop Certification or interest in obtaining Tableau Certifications
- Understanding of data management systems and processes within the ecosystem (source systems, data feeds, reference data management, ETL, Data Warehouses and Marts, data cube design, etc.)
- Experience with Tableau Prep is a plus
- Experience with any scripting language (R/Python) is a plus
- Visa experience or knowledge of the bankcard industry is a plus

Job Description
Visa’s Global Sales & Commercial Operations team supports the execution and delivery of key global initiatives and planning activities across the company and reports directly to the CEO. Our mandate is to develop, design, and execute the strategic direction for Visa’s business operations and global sales organization, be the super connector for the markets, regions, global groups, and bring a consistent voice and ‘One Visa’ mindset. The team has the following key focus areas: Business Performance, Sales Excellence, Sales Enablement and Sales Tools.
This role will report into the Business Performance organization which includes Scorecard, Sales compensation strategies and programs (MIP and SIP), Target setting, the TRUTH business performance dashboards, and Client Insights program (survey, touchpoints). This Manager partners with various teams globally to enable faster decision making, data democratization, and self-service through building innovative, and scalable best in class data marts and dashboard solutions. Our goal is to empower and enable our business partners to glean valuable insights from our tools to support their interactions with clients and sales initiatives.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a data enthusiast with intermediate to advanced Tableau Software skills who is interested in becoming advanced in all things Tableau Desktop. As a Manager of Tableau Dashboard Development, you will leverage design and development best practices and processes. You will partner with data engineers and global business teams to deliver high-visibility dashboards and data insights to a global customer base including senior executives.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,300.00 to 172,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
