      Overview

      The Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for our Nursing full cycle recruitment team that identifies, engages and hires the right people to support our Nursing Operation across all three campuses of One Brooklyn Health. Creating a compelling candidate experience to attract and motivate top talent to adapt and thrive in the organization is a key driver. Creating partnerships with the business entities to understand and respond to their staffing needs while engaging and leading the team is critical for success.

      As an integral member of the Human Resources team the Manager, of TA will be responsible for bringing an in-depth knowledge of the complexities currently confronting recruiting in the healthcare industry and will possess a track record of being part of a team that has successfully aligned with the operations of the institution monitoring recruitment procedures, leading all sourcing strategies, forecasting hiring needs based on business growth and plans. Measuring key recruitment metrics will be a key to leading the team, virtually at times with objective data; building talent pipelines for current and future openings.

      The Manager of Talent Acquisition is essential to continuous improvement, identifying, and implementing initiatives to increase business-wide recruiting effectiveness and efficiencies by developing best practices, delivering customized human resources solutions for organizational challenges.

      Responsibilities

      • Assist in developing and oversee the execution of the Talent Acquisition strategy, including strategic recruitment plans and high-volume recruitment programs/processes to meet the business goals of all One Brooklyn Health (OBH) Institutions:
        • Closely partner with other HR leaders on overarching onboarding strategies and vision for the organization.
        • Bring innovative practices to attracting and developing a diverse workforce.
      • Intergral part in the development and implementation of systems and processes to support hiring top talent:
        • Lead the evaluation, development, and implementation of metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts. Utilize objective data to tell the story.
        • Ensure that systems and processes are utilized fully, adequately and up to date at all time.
        • Ensure the integrity of data.
        • Partner with system administrator on identifying and implementing technology enhancements to various hiring systems.
      • Establish relationships with external organizations to ensure a pipeline of future Nurse talent:
        • Collaborate with other business areas in improving communication and teamwork to drive efficiencies.
        • Ensure OBH's presence at Job Fairs, local community events, state wide events as applicable to ensure we are attracting top talent.
      • Oversee the activities of the Talent Acquisition Team:
        • Continuously innovate the employer brand, sourcing, social media, campus recruiting, participate in job fairs and employee referral programs.
        • Responsible for the sourcing, selection and on-boarding of senior level leadership roles.
      • Responsible for the hiring, firing, growth and development of TA team-members to support the engagement and goal achievement.

      Qualifications

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree required.
      • Master’s degree preferred.

      Experience:

      • Minimum five (5) years of talent-related experience, with at least three (3) yeas in a leadership role and a demonstrated ability to develop and execute an effective talent acquisition strategy.
      • Proven track record of forming diverse teams and supporting them through talent acquisition and talent development.
      • Track record of partnering with senior leaders, providing perspectives and sound judgement, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and gaining trust from the organization
      • Previous experience leveraging technology and analytics to drive strategy

      Knowledge and Skills:

      • Strong grasp on current TA trends and innovative approaches to Nurse recruitment.

      Licenses, Certifications:

      • SPHR or PHR preferred

      Physical Requirements:

      • Position requires prolonged periods of sitting and use of a computer and screen viewing throughout the working day.
      • Ability to travel from site to site.
