      Türkiye Cluster, being a growth driver in the EEMEA Region, is comprised of Türkiye, Ukraine and CIS (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Afghanistan) countries.       Türkiye is a high/middle income developing country and key contributor in this Cluster with well-established healthcare infrastructure and dynamic population. Universal Healthcare Coverage (UHC) enables 99% of the population access to HC since 2003 under single payer. Strict cost containment measures & complex decision-making pose challenges on access to innovation and a private market is emerging.

      Ukraine is a low/middle income developing country with a decentralized healthcare system. Before war, HTA and Management Entry Agreement procedures approved and expected to develop as the political situation stabilizes.

      The company is the leader in clinical trials with an increasing footprint.

      We are currently seeking an inspirational leader as Managing Director to help drive the cluster strategy, through our talented teams to ensure access for patients to our innovative medicines and vaccines. You are part of EEMEA LT and work in close partnership with the region to ensure an aligned approach across the totality of our business and strategies.

      • Aligns cross-functional teams around a clear and compelling set of strategic choices / objectives which will deliver both short-term and long-term business outcomes commercially, financially, and organizationally that reflect the local market environment and Enterprise priorities.
      • Translates strategic priorities into implementable and measurable actions which have clear accountability for outcomes.
      • Is the spokesperson for the cluster, effectively communicates on behalf of our company, engages with external stakeholders either directly or via industry to shape market or above market environments to the benefit of the company or the patients we seek to serve.
      • Understands and develops meaningful insights about market environments and business drivers, formulating strategies and planning to maximise business performance, and ensuring execution through resource allocation and organizational adaptation.
      • Role models and upholds our company values and standards to ensure compliance across all functions and levels within the local market.
      • Role models and advocates for, our Enterprise Ways-Of-Working and create a psychologically safe and collaborative culture where all employees feel respected, values, and included.
      • Designs and/or adapts organizational structures to ensure current capabilities are deployed effectively and that future capability needs are being developed proactively considering Enterprise, portfolio, and local operating environment needs.
      • Identifies, attracts, coaches, develops, and retains a diverse portfolio of talent and role models good individual and team management practices to ensure positive engagement and productivity at an inclusive and psychologically safe work environment.
      • Prioritizes and leads our people management processes - coaching, growing, and developing senior leaders in all relevant commercial functional and technical skills.

      Below are the relevant experiences that will enable you to be successful in this role:

      • More than 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, with strong strategic and financial acumen that includes managing a P&L for a business or function.
      • Led or played a significant role in developing strategic priorities for a market, business units, or function.
      • Successfully managed cross-functional teams and diverse workstreams.
      • Experience in analyzing markets / customer segments, formulating commercial strategies, and executing campaigns to drive business outcomes.
      • Demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and retaining diverse talent and fostering an inclusive culture of engagement.
      • Managed managers and led full annual people management processes.
      • Strong understanding of compliance and ability to identify risks and opportunities.
      • Effectively acted or has some level of experience as a spokesperson / representative to our company.
      • Exposure to a market outside your own or Türkiye Cluster, with an appreciation of what it takes to succeed in diverse cultures and complex health care systems is an asset.
      • Previous Managing Director experience is an asset.
