      Shift will be First Shift. Schedule. Weekends as needed (this is an exempt role).

      WHAT YOU’LL DO

      • Possesses well developed skills in implementing and maintaining pharmaceutical/biological processes.
      • Services, troubleshoots, and solves engineering problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
      • Calculates and organizes all data for complex process flow sheets including instrumentation and control considerations.
      • Partner with Maintenance, Utilities, Quality, and Engineering groups to assess process equipment calibration needs.
      • Ensures proper sequence of operation and prepares specifications and operating instructions for processing equipment.
      • Models processes and units' operations.
      • Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
      • May be responsible for corrective and preventive actions and investigation management.
      • Generate procedures or PMs based on investigation findings to prevent repeat events.
      • Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature, density, pressure and viscosity.
      • You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

      Required

      • Associate degree Maintenance/Engineering background
      • 3-5 years manufacturing experience in lieu of degree
      • 2 years Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Biological process, or similar industries

      Preferred

      • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

      The base pay for this position is

      $46,700.00 – $93,300.00
