What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research, evaluate, and target accounts with the potential to generate transient and group business for the Rio Hotel
- Leverage internal and external prospecting tools to identify and connect with new customers
- Develop a strong understanding of Las Vegas market drivers and align them with customer needs
- Build and nurture meaningful customer relationships to drive long-term business opportunities
- Attend networking events, industry conferences, and sales blitzes to expand reach and build relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong understanding of hospitality sales and market dynamics
- Proven experience in prospecting and sales, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building customer relationships
- Ability to travel as needed for networking and prospecting efforts
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience attending and participating in industry events and networking opportunities
- Familiarity with Las Vegas market dynamics and customer preferences
- Previous experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry
