Reports to: Associate Director of Digital & Brand Communications

Schedule: Part-Time, hybrid up to 10 hours/week during school hours (Monday to Friday; 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) beginning in September 2024.

University Prep is seeking a talented, engaging and compassionate Marketing & Communications Intern to help us advance our vision of being an inclusive community of learners that provides an outstanding education for each individual in a diverse student population. Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Marketing and Communications Intern will work closely with the Associate Director of Digital & Brand Communications. Responsibilities will include compiling information and sending out the weekly All-School Email to families, assisting with website and portal updates, capturing and create social media content, and helping to maintain our photo and video databases. There may also be the opportunity to write for the UPrep blog or magazine.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

• Current college student with an interest in communications or marketing

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• A team player able to take direction and initiative
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and customer relations skills
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Flexibility and a sense of humor
• A working computer and internet access (when working remotely)

Compensation & Benefits

This position is paid $22 per hour and is eligible for statutory benefits only.
